
Vine growth created using shortest path seeds and vellum leaves. Flowers built with timeshifted alembic files atop vellum hair. Water is just a smoothed ripple solver.

Fractal growth created using some VEX recursion, with a switch node to lessen overlapping geometry.

Hexagon movement is powered by MOPs, shield power up is also powered by MOPs, but is ran through a handful of Redshift ramp nodes.

Shattering is from a controlled RBD material fracture, additional beveling and a dozen or so lights brought out the best of the light dispersion.
